My friend sent me an email with an attachment and I
couldn't get it and she said if works with the power
point program. Can I purchase that and install it on my
computor? I hope this doesn't sound like such a dumb
question to everyone.

Ev,

PowerPoint is not included with Windows XP. Windows XP is
your operating system. PowerPoint is an application that
creates multimedia presentations and is available only by
purchasing the software.

You can view PowerPoint presentations that are emailed to
you with the free viewer located at the URL provided by
TAJ.

Tammie,

Your advice is a bit confused. The free PowerPoint viewer
will allow a person without PowerPoint to view a
presentation. If one needs to create or make changes to a
presentation, then they will need the PowerPoint app. to
do so.
