Power Point should provide a way to switch to another application

When presenting, I frequently drop out of power point to do a live demo and
then jump back into the presentation. It would be nice if there were an
action button to switch applications and then "esc" to get back into power
point.

There are many distance learning tools that have this mechanism in place.

Do you know about Alt+Tab? It allows you to cycle among all of your running applications.
You could start the app you want to demo, get it set up and ready to go ... files open,
that sort of thing ... then start your PPT presentation and use Alt+Tab to switch back and
forth
