Power point question

Hi Everyone :o)

I run xp home with office 03...
I have a bit of a power point problem.

When i receive power point slide shows via email, when i open them they do
NOT EVER open up as a slide show but rather just as a picture...the extension
is correct and I just have no idea why it doesnt just open up as a slide show.

Instead I have to go to view and then in the view options click on side show
and so on....its a pain in the rear end but at least it works.

does anyone know what is going on??? Is my power point corrupted or what???
