Well here is a real nasty problem, I had to unplug my power cord from the
back of the computer and when I plugged it back in it was loose and I was
getting weird problems, hard drive not found etc... now I plugged it back in
but there are a few problems. Internet explorer is crashing, not letting me
put in text some times adn then crashing, tried to uninstall it and then
reinstall it but for some reason I don't think I uninstalled it correctly
because I think it would have worked, any ideas? Also just recently my
display settings for the computer reset to 600x480 and 4 colors, I had to
reinstall my video driver and monitor drivers. HELP!!! DONT WANT TO
REINSTALL WINDOWS!!!!

Sounds like you need a new power supply for your box.( or at least a new
power cable or maybe both) You may be better off in the long run
reinstalling windows - if you're running xp you can at least do a repair
install which will will preserve your current programs, you'd just need to
reinstall service pack 1 and any updates from MS
