In the Power Option Mode, the default Monitor option is that it will be off after 20 minutes if no input.

But I need that No-Use about monitor off option, in other words, Never off the Monitor.

(Because I need when I watch the movie or dvd, there would be no input over 2 hours.)

So, When I set the option No-Use, the power off button is not working.

I found that the component, "Advanced Configuration and Power Interface(ACPI) PC" has only

the option change - "Home/Office, Presentation.....".

Question>

(1) Is there anybody to meet this problem?
If then, which solution is applied to solve this?
(2) To set the default option by disabling Monitor-off option,
Which setting is needed?

Thank U.
and Have a good day~!!

If I gave more information about my XPE image, these ACPI components are added now.
--------------------------------------------------
ACPI Uniprocessor PC
Advanced Configuration and Power Interface(ACPI) PC
ACPI Fixed Feature Button
ACPI Power Button
ACPI Sleep BUtton
Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System
--------------------------------------------------
and If do not touch power-option, then the power off button works fine.

Thanks.

and I also use Minlogon.
Thank you again~!

Hi,

You did not said if you use minlogon or winlogon.

This problem exist(ed) on minlogon images, but there are workarounds in this NG.
Try this links:

I have one more question.

Following the KM's responce,
"You will probably more interested in this registry key:
[HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentSet001\Control\Session Manager\Power], "AcPolicy" and
"DcPolicy" binary values. At offset 0xC0 they contain 4 bytes with the
time-out before the monitor is powered off (in seconds), setting this to 0
means "never"."

Setting the AcPolicy and DcPolicy value to 0 means "never".
then
Which value setting could make working monitor-off after 5 hours later ?
and if possible , could you recommand any book for this?

Thanks~!
