My boss is looking for a power of attorney to give to her brother because her
son is living with him for the time being. Do you know where I can get one
of these forms.
Thanks

Did you Google to see what you might find? I'd STRONGLY suggest contacting
an attorney instead of doing it yourself tho.

Hi Gateway

In my part of the world, power of attorney forms are produced by a state
government department. I suggest you search the website of your relevant
government authority.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gateway,

To clarify a couple of points...

Shauna is in Australia, so her suggestion about government sites
doesn't apply if you're in the United States. In that case, Google
will give you about 70 000 hits on the search terms
"power of attorney" form template
A typical example is

Be very careful, though -- the best advice here is that you usually
get what you pay for. There are many kinds of power-of-attorney
documents, depending on what state you live in, exactly what powers
you want to grant, how long you want the agreement to last, and
whether it's revocable.

When you consider the amount of damage that can be done if you get the
details wrong, it seems prudent to consult a real attorney.
