Hi MSFT -- I'm having a recurring problem on a new Lenovo X60s running Win
Vista Business.

see http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=931671, or below.

Any suggestions! thanks for any and all help. I have tried the Resolution
below w/o effect (problem still occuring).

Error message when you put a Windows Vista-based computer to sleep while a
PPP connection is active: "STOP 0x0000009F"...

The following files are available for download from the Microsoft Download
Center:

Download the Update for Windows Vista (KB931671) package now.

My fix is not to use Sleep. I've had various and multiple problems with
Sleep, but none since I disabled it and use Hibernation instead. I set the
Start menu Power Button to Hibernate and use that. Works much better. You can
use the lid closing setting to hibernate if yours is a notebook. I think MS
is working on this problem. It's a good candidate for an update or SP1!

Forgot to mention that you must briefly press the power button on the
computer to resume from Hibernation.

Thanks for suggestion.

Still occuring with Hibernate only mode of use.

Any other suggestions?

MSFT -- is there a fix in the works? this is really annoying; getting blue
screen daily, sometimes several times depending on frequency of changing
states (docked-undocked; sleep; hibernate).

thanks.

I've checked a number of the fixes and none seem to address the
standby/hibernate issues on Lenovo Thinkpad laptops.
