Matt

I just put together a system, and have a little problem, but can live with
it.

The problem is that the led connector from my case is 3 contacts wide, and
the motherboard only has space for two contacts for the led. It will not
work with the setup, does anyone have a way to correct this some way...?

If you look closely at the user's manual, you should see 2 different
power led sets. Use the one that has 2 pins.

not all boards have a 2 pin set. slide one of the contacts out of the cases
3 pin connector and move it over one.

You're right. I apologize for my bad info. I mis-read the original
post. I thought he was looking for a 2-pin connection. Still, check
the manual and see if there is a 3-pin power lite connection.

Easiest way is to cut it in half and put the respective halfs on the
correct pins.

You could remove one pin (depressing the pin latch through the hole on the
side of the connector) and move it to the other hole or, easier, cut the
silly thing in half so they're 'independent' and you can slide them on
whichever pin you want.

Two color LED!
connect the plug so that two pins have wires that light up the happy
color you prefer! Center pin could be the 'common'.
