Posts not appearing in newsgroup??

Even though I submitted 2 posts, my posts are not appearing in the
newsgroup. The posts were made in the general newsgroup so I though I would
try this one.
 
Do you have any idea why they would not appear on my screen? I don't show
anything from 16th or 17th for the general group, but I do see my posts in
this and other newsgroups.
 
I removed the subscription and then re-subscribed to the general newsgroup.
Now I can see the post from the 17th, but not the 16th. Don't know why I
would not be able to see the post from the 16th as well.

I will try removing all newsgroups and re-subscribing to all of them again.
Maybe something is corrupted somewhere.

What's your question about hardware??

Hi, Lori.

Are you subscribed directly to the Microsoft public news server, the home
server for these newsgroups? Or do you go through your ISP or some other
news server? Many news servers simply "slurp" posts from the MS server and
relay them - and your messages - back and forth to you. This often results
in messages that are delayed, out of sequence, or lost entirely. Also,
those "slurping" servers usually don't carry all of the 2000+ NGs available
from the MS server.

That should bring you right back here, but connected directly this time.
This creates a minimal News Account in your OE; you can then click Tools |
Accounts... to tailor it to fit your preferences.
