Howdy.
I am a user of Outlook 2003 as part of Office 2003. I was
wondering if, as a home user, there was anyway to post my
inbox, calendar and contacts to the web so that when I am
travelling I can get to and alter (read mail, add
appointments) that info from any PC with an Internet
connection. It would be helpful if it were secure through
password protection or some sort of other protected
connection.

I currently achieve this functionality by using Windows
XP's Remote Connection. But it would be cool if I could
do it using a Web interface in the manner that Exchange
offers Outlook Web Access.

Discuss amongst ya selves...

Unfortunately Outlook being a client based program doesnt allow for this
type of functionality. As you mentioned you would need Exchange or some
other type of mail server software that could host your e-mail mailbox.
There is a feature known as Internet Free/Busy that might accomplish what
you are looking for with your Calendar. Here is a link to an article that
explains the use of Internet Free/Busy,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;827775.

I hope this information is helpful.
