hi. i am having problems with inserting a postal bar code in the mailing
label i am doing during mail merge. Whenever I click the postal bar code in
the arrange your lables area, the insert postal bar code dialog box doesn't
dislpay, thus no postal bar code in my labels. Please help...Thanks.

Word will not put a bar code in some labels that are too small to
accommodate it.

Hi Ms. Barnhill,
I've tried changing the label size since it was one of the things mentioned
in the troubleshooter. Still no barcodes. Can you help me on what I need to
do to insert bar codes. Its one of the tasks in my course and I'm really
having a hard tim edoing it. Thanks.

If you're doing this through Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and
Labels and have checked the relevant box, then Word should be doing it for
you. Note that the bar code will be above the address. If you're doing it
manually, you have to insert a BarCode field (Insert | Field). You can find
more on this in Word's Help file.

point bar code" in the labels dialog box. I'm tryng other things too to
resolve my problem, but still no barcodes. Thanks

hi suzanne. i was able to do it. i searched the internet for some solutions
and found out that i had to change my regional settings to english (U.S.) for
the zipcodes to be recognized. thanks.
