Possiblitiy for notes besides the headers in Outlook Inbox

I think it would be brilliant if one could add a comment to a mail beside the
subject field in the inbox. That could really improve my efficency.

You can modify the subject all you want. You can also choose Edit-> Edit
Message to type your comment in the mail.
