In my last mailprogram (Entourage, ie. Outlook for Mac) I used the program
to check mail on several accounts. On one of the accounts, I decided to NOT
download from server because I wanted to check it on another PC to.
Therefore in Entourage I could click on the message and delete it if I found
out thyat it was nothing important. I can't find the same feature in Outlook
2004. Is nit there?

Thanks

Christian

There is no such app as Outlook 2004. 2003 SP1 is the most recent version.

If I understand your question, you want to have an account that will not
download. If that is what you meant, then remove it from the Send/Receive
group it shares with the account(s) you wish to download.

Correct, Outlook 2003.

I want to download, BUT I want to keep a copy on server. Then in Entourage,
I could click on each message and decide if I wanted to delete only this
message from server.

Is this possible in Outlook 2003?

Thanks

It's all or nothing. You can either download all the messages from the
server, deleting them once they've all download them, or download them all
and leave a copy of them all on the server. If you choose the latter, you
can elect to delete the message from the server if you delete it in Outlook
or you can specify a length of time they'll remain on the server before
Outlook automatically deleted them. All these options are on the Advanced
tab of your account properties pages. Toos>E-mail Accounts>Next. Select
the account. Click Change>More Settings>Advanced.
