Recently when I shut down my WinXP laptop, it has a program ending screen
that pops up before the screen goes to "Windows is shutting down", and the
program is nowhere to be found on the system using Search. Most recently I
was installing the software to connect a wireless PC card for a network, so
far I have not connected the card because while the software was installing I
got an error window with "The program killproc.exe has encountered a problem
and will now close". After the software finished installing I restarted the
system and the "Ending" window popped up with the program "should not see
me". Also when connecting to the internet (dial up) it is much slower than
normal.

Have you tried a system restore?

Yes I just did a system restore...back to the point before I noticed the
slowdown. I had thought it had to do with the Automatic Update setting
downloading files (dial up is kinda slow). When I did the restore the Auto
Update was turned back on, and I also noticed 2 files which I have no idea
what they are used for...

ezSP_Px.exe (showing twice in the start up group, once as a program and once
in the registry location in a folder called "HKLM")

kjbabj32.exe (when I shut down the system, this program was not responding
unless I clicked End Now)
