PORTS??

According to device manager my computer has NO serial ports.

Trying to connect a datalogger returns the error 'couldn't open port'

Using the install wizard is useless -it doesn't find anything.

How do I install the port without the damn silly wizard?

Also, should USB 2.0 be reported in device manager or are they all lumped
together?

XP2400 on Gigabyte GA7 VX and Windows XP Corp Ed

XP Corp eh ....

Enable the serials ports in the BIOS.
