Port 10000

Hi,

I use Backup Exec to backup servers remotely. However the
backup service won't start on one of our servers. I have
tried to telnet into the port but it won't connect. All
ports. Permit All has been slected for TCP ports. Does
anyone know how I can open this port or know of a way of
onitoring this port to establish the problem.

What version of backup exec are you using ...the newest version V9.0 shows in the job log the connection ip addresses and ports used

It's trying to connect through port 10000 but won't. Have
already spoken to veritas about this and they can't help
until I get htis port open. I am using v9.0
