pornographic site opens as my default

I have suddenly got a pornographic site that has started
to appear everytime I go onto the internet. I have tried
reloading internet explorer but since then it has also put
a shortcut to itself on my desktop Any help wwould be
appreciated
 
Check your system for "hijackware".

I highly recommend using HijackThis
(http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) to identify and
assist in the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
