Popup bubbles over hyperlinks in slideshow view

I'm using Powerpoint 2002 and in slideshow view, when I hover over a
hyperlink, a little popup comes up showing the path to the file. Is there a
way to stop this, as I would like the transition to appear seamless.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All I can find is a workaround.
In the Edit Hyperlink window you can add a Screen Tip.
This overides the destination pop-up. For the "Text to display" only enter
one space(Space Bar).
Now all that will pop-up is a very small yellow box under the cursor.

Also, on most systems if you click quick enough you can beat the pop-up
entirely.

Thank you for the work around, the little box that shows up now is alot less
distracting than the whole path. Your help is really appreciated
