At the top of the IE6 window (just below the menu) there is a toolbar area
that contains:
- The Button Bar
- The Address Bar
- The Links Bar
You can enable/disable each of these bars (display or hide) and you can
control position and size. To do this, right-click somewhere in the toolbar
area and place/remove a check mark beside each of the bars you want to
display / hide. To resize / reposition the different bars, you'll have to
deselect the option to "Lock the Toolbars". Once you've got everything just
dandy, you can reselect the option to "Lock the Toolbars".
Anyway, the "Links" bar is populated from the contents of the "Links" folder
in Favorites. You can basically put websites that you access frequently
into the Links folder and gain one-click access to those sites. It's quite
handy, actually...
It's a special folder and re-creates itself. There are two methods you can follow to disable Links folder. One, by setting hidden attributes or set a null value for the Linksfolder name. and Delete the Links folder.
