I am having a message that keeps coming up. It states " Your P0P3 server has
not responed in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait another 60 seconds for the
server to respond?" How do I correct this? This is the first time it has ever
been a problem.

You are seeing this message because there is a problem with your ISP's mail
server and Windows Mail (or your usual email client) cannot poll the server
for your emails. It could be that the server is having problems. All you can
do is either wait (which I never have the patience) or close down Windows
Mail and try again later. I don't know of anything the user can do, and it
is certainly something I wouldn't worry about.

Click Cancel. It should then show a more comprehensive error message.
Right-click on that, copy, then paste it into a reply here.

Also, which antivirus are you running?

I just started having the same problem - never have experienced it before.
Windows Mail. Does not allow sending or receiving. Error message: "Account:
'pop.west.cox.net', Server: 'pop.west.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC15"

Am running Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security.

Per other posts, I went into webmail and deleted all messages - to no avail.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Jonathan

That problem may be caused by your antivirus. Do a trial uninstall
of Trend Micro, reboot, then try Windows Mail again.
