I
inez @mindspring
I seem to have more and more questions.
This was my previous post:
file of photos, which is taking forever to download. Now I keep getting a
box saying: "Your POP3 server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you
like to wait another 60 seconds for the server to respond? Is there a way to
set the "not responded in 60 seconds" to a longer time limit? Or am I doomed
to sit here clicking on the 'wait' button?<< But after several hours, I
did not see that my previous post arrived in this newsgroup.
I went to WebMail and deleted the large file of photos. Then, I went to
Earthlink's Chat room to ask questions. I was told to repair Outlook
Express by "Start, Run, typing in SFC /SCANNOW" and enter. The Windows box
opened and began to scan. Then a box says: "Files that are required for
Windows to run properly must be copies from the DLL Cache. Insert your
Windows XP Home Edition CD-Rom now." I do NOT have a Windows XP CD because
Windows was included in the computer I bought. What am I supposed to do
about that?
To get out of the Windows box, click on Cancel was my only choice. Then it
says: "If you cancel, Windows might require you to insert CD later. Are
you sure you want to skip this file?"
I seem to be running around in circles. Any help would be appreciated.
