I use OL 2002 and travel across different networks so I cannot use my ISP
email for sending.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any POP3 providers that provide good
performance and are not listed on any SPAM filters.

So far I have found Apexmail but wanted to know if there are any others.

When you send mail, you are using SMTP, not POP. POP is how you retrieve
mail - and it doesn't sound like you want to change the ISP/host you use for
your existing mail, right?

1. If your current provider will allow it, you can authenticate to their
SMTP server and access it/relay through it from anywhere.
2. If not, I would check out www.dyndns.org for their relay services - worth
the cost.

Have you given any thought to purchasing your own domain name and email
service?

For a low fee (sometimes for as low as $5/month), you can get your own
domain, set up your own email. It won't matter which ISP is connecting you to
the net, you'll always have access to your own mail servers. Some even
provide a web interface, much like Hotmail, for those times you don't have
access to your computer.
