POP3 Error 0x800ccc92

Have recently upgraded to Office 2003 and I am having
problems with collecting pop3 email.

All of the settings are correct and outlook confirms it
when you test the settings?

But when I send and recieve it comes up with an error
saying the password is not correct but i have checked it
via web based email and it works?

Any advice appreciated?

Besides the error code, the error you're getting should have included the
text of the server's response - what is it saying?
 
Michael, it seems that this is a huge problem with Office 2003. I have read all Microsoft articles about this and have talked to many people but nobody seems to have the fix. When Office 2003 is installed it appears to be changing something in Windows that is causing this problem. Try setting your account up in Outlook Express, bet you get the same error
