Is there any way to prevent these annoying pop-ups
throught a security block on Internet Explore? I can't
stand these things! My computer seems to get at ton since
I installed Windows XP. You know, the little gray boxes
that advertise on how to prevent pop-ups! AGG! I'm going
nuts!!

Blocking Unwanted Ads with a Hosts File.
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/newhosts.htm
Install the file and HOSTS Editor appropriate for your O/S.
Test a web site that loads ads like http://www.extremetech.com
You will see a major difference.

Install a plain vanilla popup stopper -

(Do not search Google for "popup stoppers", some are not good).

Post back if you need anything else.
