How do I get rid of the pop ups? Is there any software
that I can download from microsoft (for free) or
adjustment on my computer?

I am also trying to delete two programs that I cannot
remove from view panel, add/remove programs. One is the
ad destroyer and the other is virtual bouncer. It gives
me an error message that says "Could not remove
install.log". It also say on the title window "wise
uninstall". Can you help.
 
Download the Google toolbar (with popup blocker) and use Google for your
default search engine. Turn off Windows messenger service:

Adaware from Lavasoft has a freeware version (doesn't include AdWatch, which
blocks popups and (depending on how you set it) will not allow modifications
to your registry without permission, that will locate and remove programs
that are spyware/malware.
