Recently two pop up windows appeared when I was surfing the internet.
After that I could no longer log on to the internet. I spent about 15
hours talking to my service provider. They didn't know nothing. They
said I had to install Windows again. I called a number of computer
repair places in my area (some said they might have to install windows
and the cost was $200.00) and I found one company that said the right
things. The tech came over and within a half hour he fixed it - it was
spyware that was the culprit. So he tells me that I could have saved
$65 if I ran Lavasoft Ad-aware SE Personal and removed the Spyware. He
then told me to run this program every week to prevent other spyware.
So don't go spending valuable time or money until you run Lavasoft.
