Pop up windows and drop down menus

I am trying to figure out how to put a popup window or a
drop down menu in a specific table inside a specific
field. Maybe this is easy, but I am a new user to Access
so bare with me.

That's what forms are for... if you are trying to do it in a table
datasheet, don't bother.
