When a popup of a picture or something comes up, the
window is very tiny and at the bottom of my screen, is
there anyway to make pop up windows automatically display
maximized without pressing the maximize button each time?

If these are regular IE windows, try this...
Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize.
Close other IE windows. Close that window last.

To get a true maximized window...
AutoSizer 1.4- http://www.southbaypc.com/AutoSizer/
IE New Window Maximizer http://www.jiisoft.com/iemaximizer/index.htm

You didn't say which PopUp Blocker you are using. All of them can be
configured to allow site popups. If you need and want popups on a certian
site, configure your popup blocker to allow the popups for that site.

In addition to Don's suggestions if the window is not controllable
try pressing Ctrl-N to clone it. Chances are that a clone may have
more controls on it but more importantly it might be given the properties
of your normal windows.
