pop up servers

im new to th computer i tried to send a message and it said that an error
occured i should make sure that i enetred th right pop3 server what does that
mean?

The correct server names depend on which email provider you are trying
to use, and very seldom have less than one period in them. Your internet
provider may also be an email provider, so who are they? Or if you'd
like to use a different email provider, which one?

New computers very seldom come with an email provider already
set up.
