Pop-up ICQ when starting my computer..

Hi!
I have just installed ICQ on my computer (XP). Now everytime I start my computer now a pop-up for ICQ shows on the screeen, asking me to connect... I don´t want it to show like that (I use modem so I´m not connected to Internet all the time). How can I make the pop-up for ICQ dissapear permenantly without uninstalling ICQ??

Install a Spyware program (spybot search & destroy) or
(spysweeper - www.webroot.com)

Check your start-up config to:-
Start / Run / msconfig / Startup
 
As with all programs, you go into ICQ preferences/options and uncheck
whatever to get over the problem..
