Since I downloaded a security update to protect my computer from a malicious virus a few months ago I have experienced very poor sound quality. Has anyone else had this and overcome it?
Check for updates for your Soundcard at the manufacturer's website. First, recommend you uninstall the soundcard and then reinstall it for the virus may have affected the drivers/codecs/plugins, for your media application.
