Hello,

I have a little problem. I'm using the the Polish
programmer's keyboard to type Polish letters. It works
great until I try to send email with Yahoo. When I use
my laptop with XP Home to send an email to myself that
contains Polish letters, the received email contains
weird characters. (I have no problem typing the letters
when I'm writing the message.)

The strange thing is that when I use my XP pro desktop to
do the same thing, it works. I send an email with Polish
characters to myself, and I receive that email with all
the Polish characters intact. The emails I've received
over the holidays from my relatives in Poland is also
screwed up. (I didn't ask them which version of Windows
they're using.)

All updates are installed on my desktop. My laptop has
all critical updates installed, but I have not installed
2 recommmended updates. One is Windows Messenger, the
other has something to do with security for wi-fi.

Any suggestions?

okay, the problem was the ecoding in internet explorer.
I hit View, Encoding, then chose Central European (ISO),
and it worked. I could finally read all those emails I
received!!!
