Reports on the news earlier that if Newcastle go down the club could go into receivership.
The club would loose so much money by getting relegated that they will go bust if they loose the premiership money!

I got a text about this last night and thought it was an early April fools joke (as an avid Newcastle supporter!). That's our 4th manager this season

I really do think this could save us from relegation (just), as it is going to be a huge boost to the team (and is going to make sure the supporters are behind the team all game, which makes a big difference).

Would love it if we won against Chelsea this weekend

I got a text from me brother this morning about Shearer and I thought yeah right..April fool....As you say Ian I think it is going to be a major boost for the players..The supporters will be behind him 100% i'm sure, some have wanted him as manager for some time..Lets hope he proves his worth and they keep him as manager...See if Newcastle can play at the top again...
