Pointingdevice for handicapped

Does anyone know of a pointing devise of any type that is designed for a person
whose hands shake? This person is handicapped because of the condition.
Any and all ideas are appreciated Immensely!

turn down sensitivity and use "jump to the nearest control button" (something similar to that) in control panel mouse options, just
to start, and see is that helps. I'll consult some folks I know and see what they are producing, and ask around.

Currently, IBM is working on a mouse that will compensate for individuals with trembling hands who are unable to use a regular
mouse. Also in development is a program for the cognitively impaired that will simplify complex material.

Most people I talked to use a trakball rather than a mouse. They have an extra large ball and slow movement.

Thanks for the info! I really appreciate it. Your suggestion to cut the sensitivity
of the mouse worked OK but the trackball works very well! Thanks again!
