Plus sign problem

When trying to create a new folder the rename box fills
with endless plus signs (+++++++++++++)
I have run antivirus and trojan searches but found
nothing.
I'm baffled !!! Any help would be appreciated.

Have you cleaned the keyboard lately? One little sliver of cellophane, pet
hair, or other junk stuck under the keys could cause unexpected repeated
characters. Also, if someone spilled liquid on the keyboard - they may have
damaged it and you're seeing the results.
 
I am also having the same problem. When I try to log in, type in m
screen name or my password, endless + signs start filling in. Thi
also happens when I try to type in a search topic and even sometimes i
the text of my message. This just started the past couple of days.
