Hi,

I have an Olympus C150 digital camera. In the instructions it says I should
be able to just plug and play though USB, however when I connect it comes up
with add new hardware wizard - it installs the software from cd, but at the
end says that install has not been successfull as the software was for 95.
There are no driver updates on olympus website - just says that XP should
automatically recognise it. Is there an xp driver I need?

Anyone help?

Thanks very much

Adam

The camera is recognized as a USB device, however, the software that's
needed to upload and process photos is out of date. Unless Olympus
has updated XP software on their web site for your camera, you'll have
to use a CF card reader instead to upload photos.

Actually, a CF card reader is more convenient because it will be
"seen" as another storage device. Also CF card readers are very
inexpensive. I use one for my Nikon even though the Nikon has updated
XP software. If you're here in the US, go to www.bestbuy.com and see
their pricing on CF card readers (USB).
