a few weeks ago I posted a 3 of queries for help. One was answered only a few days later.
here is the problem: I disabled "workstation" in the services program. It then of course disabled all the programs that were dependant on it, along with all the programs that were dependant on them one of wich is my modem, I have tried several times to click on "properties" to try and re-enable them but the properties sheet does not come up. can any one come up with an alternative to wiping my laptop clean and starting over
And this was the reply-Go to Start > Run and type: MSCONFIG , and hit enter
Under the General tab, check "Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services"
click "apply" and reboot
I of course followed the instructions and when it came to click "apply" that option was not available
I asked for further help but got no reply, I am now ---a month later--- asking for help again. Isn't there any one out there that can help
