PLEASE HELP!!

I am running Windows XP Pro on my Laptop. The computer
will not boot into windows. I constantly receive a blue
screen with following error: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.
Technical Information: ***STOP: 0x0000000A (0xf000e987,
0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x807cd90e)

Is this a hardware problem? I tried everything (restore,
reinstall, etc.), and I still cannot boot into windows.
Please help.
