Every time i start my pc I get a message saying theres a pci device that
needs to be installed and 2 question marks by these items in device manager?
As far as i know theres no other hardware in my pc apart from the graphics
which is pcie and the soundcard which is pci but i've already installed the
drivers for these devices and they're working fine? What is this mystery
device? and how do i stop these messages? I'm using XP pro

Hi Dave,

Is this a new PC you built? If so try loading all the motherboard CD device
drivers.

CreateWindow
http://mymessagetaker.com Stop using those paper phone message pads - make
the computer work for you (not the other way around)!

Dave,

What is listed in Device Manager; Right-click My Computer | Properties |
Harware tab | Device Manager

Are they PCI Bridge drivers needed? If so, the motherboard disc is the best
option

Do you have an old dialup modem you have forgotten about?

If not, additional info please?

One says pci device the other says unknown device.
I tried installing some mobo drivers to no evail. It seems asus logic is not
very explanatory?
