please help

i recently got the puper trojan and it was write protected. i was told in
the help of my anti virus (mcafee) the disable system restore, reboot in safe
mode, and rescan and it should delete, it did but now when i reboot normally
i am unable to do anything. everything seems to load normal but when you
click on something it freezes up and you hear a beep(sounds like from the
tower) then it will unfreeze and do the same thing over again. the only way
i am able to do anything is to boot in safe mode. if someone can help that
would be great....thank you
