Hi group,

I wanted to know how is the best way to optimize windows xp machine
when it is a part of the LAN. In our scenario only thing we the Windows
xp machine needs is to connect to the get authenticated from PDC,
access file server, emails and internet. Thats all we need. I know we
can improve performance by stopping all the unwanted services but which
are those ? Any links to the sites will also help.

Thanks in advance.
