hi, i cannot install a program without installing it for all the users on my computer, is thier some way i can install programs without installing them for all users. I have an admin acount and am running Windows XP Pro.

some programs are not aware of such things and you can't
change where they put things. you can remove the start
menu icons from the all-users folder and then remove
permission to access the exe to everyone else manually...

Greetings:

Start\Run\Gpedit.msc\User Settings\Management Templates\System\Do not
execute specified Windows Applications\Enable\Show\Add\type
*application.exe\accept\accept\apply (*application's executable file)

Applications can be run trough the command prompt and the Task Manager so
you will also have to remove access to them.... command in same folder and
Task manager in ctrl+alt+del subfolder.. enable both directives..

Hope this helps.
