| I don't understand this at all. I'm sorry, but could you please guide
| me through what you are referring to step by step? I was interested in
| how to use the File -> Archive feature and when it offers the option
| to archive items older than _____________ (you pick the date)
|
| I've been trying to Archive everything in my Outlook XP (Events,
| Tasks, etc.) that is older than 6/1/02, but every time that I run it,
| Nothing is removed from Outlook before 6/1. I'm obvioulsy doing
| something wrong. Could someone walk me through how to do this please?
| I want to be able to do this so that I can then synch and purge older
| information off of my PPC.

|| Outlook uses the "modified" date for archiving so if you have
|| accessed any items in the time after 6/1, then its date is changed
|| to the date you last accessed it.
||
|| Try this - add the Modified Date to the column view (right
|| click->field chooser) and then display your mail by the modified
|| date. You can easily see what mail is a candidate for archiving and
|| what will not.
