Hello,

We have a server Small bussiness 2003 and we use Outlook 2003.

As we are going on a holiday we would like people to know this if they
send us an e-mail with the automatic reply or Out of office reply. We
already changed the global settings in the SMTP domain on our server
(exchange server)by checking the box Allow out of office responses.

BUT it doesn't work!!

We have 1 server with 2 pc's and one of these pc's gets e-mail from 4
e-mailadresses and this computer must response with the out of office
response and we even tried the rules wizard so we could define that he
must response to only 2 e-mail adresses (is still the preferable
situation!!) BUT it doesn't work.

Please help us if you can or know the answer of this problem.

Hi - this question really belongs in microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs as
OOO isn't really an Outlook thing so much as an Exchange one.

That said - does this happen for everyone? Both internal senders and
external ones? You do know that OOO replies only once per sender, right? If
you turn it off/back on, it will 're-trigger' ...test for both external and
internal senders.
