A client's office has several machines using XP. They want to network them
together. The users are all 'trusted and friendly'. They want all users to
be able to easily share information. Security will be provided by restricted
building access and logon passwords. My experience with XP indicates that
sharing is very difficult to do. How can sharing be set up to serve the
needs of this client?
I am sorry to presist, but no one answered my privious request.
Someone. please respond.
Thanks, Hugh

Sharing still does not work. One machine is XP-Pro, the other is XP-Home. I
set level 5 parameters on a data partition in each machine. The network is
based on a lynksys router including firewall features.
The error message on XP-H is 'BW is not accessable, you might not have
permission ....'. (BW is the workgroup name) The error message on XP-P
'\\Ultra is not accessable, '. (Ultra is the XPH machine name)
What am I missing?
Thanks, Hugh
