Frusting item on my Outlook 2000, Outlook keeps failing on my after I
open it.
I am getting a window when I select Outlook 2000 which says
"This Application has failed to start because PSKALLOC.DLL
was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"
.

So I uninstalled and re-installed Outlook 2000 from the original CD,
then updated all of the security fixes and patches and it still gives
me that error.

Can anyone help me with this ??

Thanks,

Jon

That does not sound like an Outlook file. Do you have any add-ins
installed?

Add-ins ???

Is there a folder where the add-ins would reside?
I am using a product the sync's Outlook with my PDA, but I do not know
if that is an add-in?

Please let me know how I can check out any add-ins I might have.

Thanks,

Jon

Yes, but check in Outlook with Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options and look
in both Add-in Manager and COM Add-ins. If you see that DLL, uncheck the
box next to it.

A sync tool is usually not an add-in, but it may install one.

Outlook closes immediately, so I would need to know where the add-ins
reside.

I believe I have found them to be from Panda.

I mistakingly downloaded a demo from Panda for their anti-virus-home
package and it has been about a month of finding their garbage all over
the place since I uninstalled their demo.

All over the registry and Windows. It has been a nightmere.
