Please help me set up my home network

I have 3 computers at home, all with Windows XP Home. They all access
the Internet through a single cable connection, with a router. One is
connected directly to the router, the other two have wireless cards.

The Internet access is working great. What I want now is to allow my
computers to access each other's data, and to access the printer
connected to one of them.

I've tried following the instructions in the home networking wizard,
creating a disk and running it on the other computers. But it doesn't
work for me.

Another problem I've had is that the laptop has no floppy drive, so I
can't create a disk to put in the other computers.

I think it would be really cool if my computers could access each
other, and even perhaps play games with each other.

Thanks.

Make sure all computers have the same workgroup, such as "WORKGROUP"

"Are You Linked to a Workgroup using Windows XP Home Edition?
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/home/using/tips/gettingstarted/workgroup.as

Then setup the printer(s) to be shared

"How to Use Windows XP to Share a Printer with Others on Your Network
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/using/itpro/networking/printershare.as

Then setup any shared folders/files

"Shared Folders

Windows XP by default gives its workgroup name MSHOME. Making the workgroup
names isn't necessary because Windows supports multiple workgroups and all
machines can access all computers in different workgroups.

Okay, I did that. I'm just checking out my laptop and my main
computer for now. Both have workgroup MSHOME.
Then setup the printer(s) to be shared:

Okay, this is a problem. On the main computer, the shared printer is
"Printer". On the laptop, however, it can't find it (in the Add
Printer Wizard when I browse for the printer).
