ok I have a multiboot screen everytime I start up, i need to unistall the windows xp that is installed on my c:\, howd o i do this, so that way i only have one winows installed on my computer,.... im running windows XP pro

First of all take a look at all of your drives/partitions and find both
instances of XP
Write down the exact locations of both
restart and enter the XP that you wish to keep
open Notepad and find the file BOOT.INI usually in the root of "C"
delete the line that refers to that version of XP that you wish to delete
safe and exit
Find that version of XP and delete
reboot

Log in to your Windows XP pro, delete the Windows folder belonging to
the installation you want to get rid of.

Then go to Start > Run > msconfig
go to the boot.ini tab
and click 'Check all paths.'

Good luck
