I have altered colors on the screen of by Dell laptop. I contacted Dell
customer support and after some time the guy told me that the problem exists
only within windows (running it in other modes seeded to be normal). So it
probably is a windows problem. What should I do? Has anyone seens anything
like this before??

If all youre updates are in order & the display adapter runs on the latest
drivers, then go to run, type:DXDIAG Run the direct X tests.

Which colors are altered?

Right-click on the desktop, select Properties, and go to the Themes
tab. Select the "Windows Default" theme. Does this help? Or make
it worse? Or have no effect? Try the "Windows classic" and/or
"Windows XP" themes as well.

Good luck

Thanks but its not the desktop theme that is altered only. I.e. I have
classic blue now as desktop theme and it has no alteration at all. But all
the dektop icons has small dots of color on them, as if with chicken-pox. But
the worst thing is when I open any kind of program: all colours are altered.
For example, I don't see a white backround in a word documet. I see it kind
of green!!
Anyway, all are altered, both backgrounds and icons, and lines, and
everything..

That sounds like some sort of malware related mischief.

Go to one of the following free online scanner sites and get a "second
opinion" as to any possible infestations.
Bit Defender http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
Trend Micro http://housecall.trendmicro.com
Kaspersky Online Scanner http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Panda ActiveScan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan
WindowSecurity.com TrojanScan http://windowssecurity.com/trojanscan
Webroot http://www.webroot.com/

Good luck

Actually bitdefender just finished and it says that my computer is still
infected. What do I do to clean it??
