please can you help ?

hello you fine people,please can you help,when I click on my drives,C
drive(my default hard drive)
or any of my cd roms drives, windows goes to the windows xp search results
and not directly to my
drive,how can I get back to just opening to the drive,also the option,right
click on any drive properties....have changed,now when I right click any of
my drives when right clicking a new option have appeared,with options
for General..Hardware..Sharing,,Recording, it used to be the defualt menu ,,
Tools,etc. with the option of autoplay etc for any drives in that menu so I
could associate any type of multimedia,Dvd,Cds etc.how can I get back to
the defaults ? Thanks for reading this.

Doug Knox's fix for the Search issue -

Try that and if you are still having problems, post back. It would be
helpful if your next post were in complete sentences with
capitalization and punctuation. I don't say that to hurt your feelings,
but your original post is quite hard to read.

Sorry Mailke,English is not the best :) what I want to is to have my
settings changed back to what it was by clicking on my hard drive C and for
it to open as normal and not go the Search Results instead.thanks for trying
to help and your patience.

That's quite all right. I'm sure I would do far worse than you if I
tried to write in *your* language. :-)

Run Doug Knox's fix then and that should take care of Search starting
when you double-click a folder.

Click Start/Run and type this command:

regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
Click Ok.
